The New Occupants recorded in the 1980s with Danger Records, a Twin-Cities based record label. They received a lot of international airplay with their underground club dance hit "Blue Light".


The New Occupants are featured on the German produced 3 LP-box "Remeniscent", which has been released from Genetic Music.
